Stay away!!!

Took in my car June 2024 - Chris (the only guy you'll ever speak to there) sent me a quote to repair my mechatronic unit for R20 801.20, a few days later he calls me saying it needs to be replaced and will cost R26 780.00.

A week later he calls and says my clutch is the issue and that it needs to be replaced He provided a quote for the clutch which amounted to R23 207.85, this is in addition to the Mechatronic unit

On Monday the 15th of July he sent me a “never before seen” quote of R13 335.10 for a Transmission 2 replacement (used) and Flywheel replacement because my gearbox was completely ruined. That's when I asked them to stop and I'll pay for what has already been fitted.

I took it to another workshop (big mistake if you want to involve the Motor Industry Ombudsman) and they advised that the mechatronic unit was not replaced but filled with oil, my gearbox & clutch were the wrong units for my car and that the only new part he could see was the Flywheel (which I replaced a year or two ago.
