Mechatronics *****

I brought my Audi for Mechatronics repairs in Jan 2023. I was advised the repair was the way to go given the condition of my car. I was given a quote of R25k, and shortly after a revised quote of R56k for a Mechatronic repair - could have bought 2 replacement gearboxes. I trusted them to do the job and I have been back to Mechatronics over 5 times in the course of the year for the same issue. Having been under 1 year warranty I returned it always to them with no ultimate solution only **** promises of progressing and testing. 11 months later I returned the vehicle and having been informed it was ready noticed a kick in the gearbox. I returned it and it’s been 5 month waiting with back and forths. I sent a notice letter with no reply and have flown in to jhb a couple of time attempting to release the vehicle and let someone more capable to handle the repair. I am now being charged for supposed partial repairs in an unfinished product. It’s sad that the owner also refused to show face and placed his newly appointed customer person to deal with all this, lack of consideration, accountability and sadly I’m not the only person in this boat. So sharing this to help others not fall in the same trap. Mechatronics in Wynberg you broke any trust I had in you and should be ashamed to be in business if that’s how you treat your customers - run of you still can (from a reasonable patient and dissappinted client)
