mecer wizard laptop

i take out a contract from MTN with a mecer wizard laptop.i was under the impression that mecer is a good quality product.but sadly dissapointed in the laptop. i think a pentium 2 would be much faster than the mecer wizard.now i am stuck with the laptop for 2 years.i think to run it from a external SSD,but did not know if it is worth the money
