poor treatment

on 28 Dec 20 Meat world sent me an sms that they were selling beef fillet at R84.99 kg. I went to the store an hour or so later & was charged R159.99. I showed the sms to the butcher who knew nothing of it & was told to speak to one of the assistants at the tills. I spoke to an assistant who knew nothing of it, She went to the manager & on her return advised that it was an error & that a follow up correction message was sent & that she was sorry. A correction message was sent some time after the original messege that I had not read. My issue here is shoddy treatment, I respond to a Meat World invitation and the Manager couldn't give me the time of day to speak to me directly & apologise with some sincerity. I feel their action demonstrated contempt. Imagine I invite someone for a braai at my place & when they arrive I send one of my kids to the gate to advise that it was an error & they must go. home.
