Poor, poor quality meat

"At Meat World, we aim to not only meat expectations but to exceed them. Across all our stores, we provide services and specials to delight meat *****s of all kinds." The above is the statement made by Meat World about how they say they run the business. But..................... My wife and I have been married for 42 years and we have been buying our meat from them for as long as I can remember. We went to buy meat in May and what a surprise we got with the quality. unfortunately one only realizes bad quality meat once it is cooked and you try to eat it. This is what we got for our R2000.00 : 1. We bought about 3-4 kilograms "matured" rump steak. I have never before had such tuff meat. My wife even tried to put it in the pressure cooker. No joy. So now we are going to put rump steak thru the mincer to make hamburger patties. Hopefully that will not be tuff. 2. We also bought two trays of bulk packed lean mince. The only thing lean about the mince was the packaging. So much fat I have never seen in mince before. It is the most unhealthy mince we have ever seen. We gave the mince away because there is nothing one can do with such meat. A health disaster. 3. We bought a beef roll. Ten times worse that the steak. You can not get your teeth through the meat. This one was really bad. So, I just felt it my duty to warn the people of Springs about the quality of the meat at Meat World. I will definitely not take a chance again. It is to expensive to buy meat there and hope you get good quality.
