Manager craving attention from customers

I visited Meat World Northcliff today for the first time and also the last time. While I was checking out I was helped by the cashier who did an excellent job. Then a white lady who was wearing way too much make up felt the need to come over and take control. I can only imagine that this lady was the manager. But she probably felt like she needed to be the center of attention at that point in time. When I did not give her the attention she craved she started distracting the cashier from completing her job. In the end it took almost 2 minutes for the manager just to put my items in a plastic bag.
