Goodbye Meat World Comaro!

I can only blame myself because, like a fool, I keep going back to #MeatWorld Comaro Crossing, hoping for a better experience.

Unfortunately, I have once again been disappointed. On previous occasions, the biltong has either had very little to no seasoning or has been completely dry. I initially assumed the dryness was simply a mistake, especially since I had specifically asked for it to be wet at the time.

On my latest visit, I again requested wet biltong, only to be told that they do not serve it wet-ever. I pointed out that this is not a small corner café, but a butcher shop that should be able to cater to different customer preferences.

What makes this even more disappointing is that I have never experienced this issue at the Alberton branch. They have always been able to provide the biltong the way I request it.

When I raised my concern with the manager, I was told that “not one person” asks for wet biltong. That honestly surprised me, as I find it hard to believe that no South African customer enjoys biltong
