on the 09 June 2015 i went to meat world comaro (not the first time) i always buy my biltong from meat world verwoerd park but when im in the glen area i pop in at meat world comaro.. firstly the biltong is something wrong with it is tasteless and white fat is horrible it gives a funny fatty taste on you pallet and its not good feeling i bought over R300 worth of biltong 9th June to where i am giving it to my dog to eat AND THIS IS NOT THE FIRST TIME I THOUGHT IT WAS JUST ME. BUT EVERYTIME I BUY ITS THE SAME THING. I WILL LEAVE THE CUSTOMERS THAT LIKES YOUR BILTONG AND MY COMPLAINT MIGHT BE THE ONLY ONE BUT BE ASSURED I WILL SPEND MY MONEY AT MEAT WORLD VERWOERD PARK. i will never go back to meat world comaro ever.. then the staff is touching you biltong with bare hands NO GLOVES, and i am not happy. and the other lady is busy packing biltong in packets with bare hands no gloves<br> I WOULD RATHER SUPPORT MEAT WORLD VERWOERD PARK, WHERE THE BILTONG IS VERY TASTY AND YELLOW FAT AND LEAVES NO FUNNY TASTE.. AND USES GLOVES AT ALL TIMES.. IM ALSO IN THE BUTCHERY DELI BUSINESS AND I KNOW THE STANDARDS.
Good morning Johan, my sincere appologies for the incident, please bring the balance of the biltong back to the store if possible that we may replace or refund you the full amount paid.
Concerning the issue of handling meat not wearing gloves, all front counter staff have been instructed to wear gloves at all times when handling a product that does not go thru a cooking process.
Meat World Comaro would like to make it up to you by giving you an additional R300 voucher. Please contact me at the store on *** to make arrangements.
