Careless Attitude

I visited meat 2 oceans in Pretoria West inside Tshwane Market yesterday (23 January 2021). When I was at the teller paying, I asked the lady to wipe the card pin pad machine since you could not pay by tapping. She looked at me and said no I do not have it. She had attitude when she responded as if what I asked her was the most ridiculous question she has had that morning. I was so confused considering that at shops that is the one thing that is touched by lot of customers. During this pandemic I did not think there were people that were so careless and putting lives of customers in danger. Some of us have buried a lot of people who past away due to Covid-19 and we are trying to do our bidding and not spread the virus and we hope shops will put the lives of customers and their staff first but hearing a teller with that attitude on something she should be doing daily was really shocking. I am hoping this will be addressed so that all the tellers can do their part in stopping the spread of the virus by just wiping the card machine pin pad and the pen they give customers to sign after each use.
