DO NOT BUY A HOUSE FROM MDV DEVELOPMENTS EVER NO MATTER HOW DESPARATE YOU ARE
Do not buy a house from MDV Development reason being they build houses using inferior though they claim it's of a good quality. I moved at Wildordon Ext 11 November 2023 just in 4 months I've had my water pipe burst twice due water pressure. The most frustrating & annoying part for me is that Joburg Water did not do the installation of water pipes instead it was MDV did, But when you report this mess to Dylan (Wilfordon Site Manager/Supervisor) he's quick to log a call with JHB Water & to me that's passing the bug instead of taking ****** responsibility as a developer & fix the mess.
MDV Development is ****** Bully & a ***** !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

01 Mar 2024, 13:37Hi Tumelo To clarify, the water leak you are referring to occurred between your house and the municipal connection/meter from the Council on your stand boundary. The water pressure to your house is regulated and protected by a pressure release valve installed prior to occupation at the central entry point of the water to your house, by MDV. The water pressure outside your house, meaning on the other side of the pressure valve installed by MDV, be it at the municipal meter or within your property in the pipe leading from the meter to your house,is SOLELY regulated and adjusted by Joburg Water, being the owner and partly responsible for maintaining the internal water network installed in Extension 11, Wilfordon. Their main water lines also have a pressure valve regulating water pressure within the system, unfortunately MDV are not allowed to interfere or adjust any pressure on the Joburg water lines. A burst or leak before the house is easily addressed by Joburg Water by simply adjusting the water pressure within the system. We can assure you MDV is not “passing the buck” as you put it, the logging of a call is in fact the logging of a complaint on your behalf at Joburg Water. MDV is following up on a daily basis with Joburg Water on your behalf but any additional pressure from your side at Council will go a long way in solving this problem. Regards MDV team
