Bad service and empty promise
Me and my husband bought the house last year September (2022)and promise to move in may this year(2023).please guy don’t even bother to buy any property at Wilfordon,their full of empty promise.as I’m talking I’m waiting for the keys but the house is finished. I wana take them to television shows were I expose them and help other not to experience their bad service.please don’t buy no matter how you think is cheap you will wait forever.now is September 2023 a full year still with no keys

20 Sept 2023, 08:28MDV understands the excitement and anticipation in occupying your new home and would do anything in its power to expedite matters. Please remember the timeframes for the transfer of your stand and subsequent construction of your new house are clearly defined and agreed contractually. Your stand registered into your name at the end of June 2023 triggering the construction of your new home. We are still well within agreed timeframes for delivery of the house. Although the top structure might be complete occupation can’t be given prior to the necessary occupation certificate being issued by the local authority. For this to be issued an individual water and electrical account must be opened at the Council for the client and meters installed. (The installation of all meters is an outsourced function done by Municipal appointed contractors, where the developer can’t interfere apart from regularly following up with Council in an effort to expedite matters.) Joburg Council unfortunately need to follow process and time delays do occur delaying occupation. We suggest you to visit the local MDV office to clarify any delays currently experienced as well as an anticipated occupation date.
