MNR LJ BOTHA (DEBT REVIEW REMOVAL)

Good day. On 13 August 2024, Mdalisu Debt Review Removal Durban ***} contacted me in connection with the fact that I was posted on Debt Review by Dept. Rescue. After a long discussion of what is the reason why they called me is that according to their records there are 'Red flags' flying in respect of my Credit cards payments specifically and that they were paid eight months last by Debt Rescue. The lady has repeatedly tried to dominate me to make use of their services so that I can then pay my debtors directly according to corresponding amounts with them and then it is not paid further by Debt Rescue and I then left Debt Rescue and I have to cancel the debit order with Debt Rescue at the bank. The more I tried to explain to her that I was afraid of the switch as there was already a Court order issued by the court. During our lengthy conversation and checking of my personal information, she at one point asked my bank details that I had provided to her in my messy state that I now believe was a mistake. I mentioned to her that it was not my final decision to be assisted by them. She mentioned I don't have to worry she'll email me first – mail the necessary communication to once again tell me what it's all about and what it really entails. She explained to me the financial process and what the monthly expenses will be, namely R1875 – 00 per month with an additional amount of R220 – 00. At that point as I have already mentioned, in my opinion, this was not yet my final decision. The debit order would not have taken effect until after I made my final decision. On Friday, 30 August 2024, I saw on my financial statement that the amount of R 1875 – 00 had been recovered, which made me wonder what it was for. To my shock, I see this was when the deduction from Mdalisu Debt Review Removal was. This was surprising to me because in the last three weeks that have passed; I have not heard or received anything from them on the phone or in writing again. My final decision had not yet been made and the money had been advanced. Unaware of the fact that the debit order had already gone down, I myself called all my debtors to learn the state of affairs according to the payments made by Debt Rescue. So I was informed that everything was in order with my bills and paid by date. On Saturday 31 August I called the said firm and explained to the consultant my case to learn what I had to do in order to get my money back. She only mentioned that it was not possible and that she would forward it to be examined. I was also at my bank trying to reverse the payment which was unsuccessful. All I ask is that they will pay me back some of the recovered amount she has paid in full and or only partially since I realize that there were administrative expenses. Yours L. J. Botha *** CRO
