Cancelled My Policy but Mdalisu Is Still Taking Money From My Account

Extremely disappointed with Mdalisu and the way my cancellation has been handled.

I cancelled my policy, yet money has continued to be deducted from my bank account. Approximately R4,000 has already been taken, and now I am being told that I still need to pay an additional R1500 cancellation fee.

This makes absolutely no sense to me. If the cancellation fee is R1500, why has approximately R4,000 already been deducted from my account? I have repeatedly asked for a proper explanation and a full breakdown of these deductions, but the issue remains unresolved.

I have sent multiple emails trying to resolve this matter, but the customer service has been extremely frustrating. My dealings with Sinothile Bhengu in particular have left me disappointed, as I found the communication dismissive and unhelpful rather than focused on resolving my complaint.

I want Mdalisu to explain clearly:

• Why approximately R4,000 was deducted from my account. • Why deductions continued after I cancelled the policy. • Why I am now being asked to pay another R1500 • Where the R1500 cancellation fee is stated in my agreement. • When I will receive a refund for any money deducted incorrectly.

I expect a full investigation, a proper written explanation, confirmation that no further money will be taken from my account, and a refund of any unauthorised or incorrect deductions.

This matter has gone on for far too long and I am tired of repeatedly emailing without receiving a proper resolution.
