bad customer service

I went to jam to exchange some items, then there was small change left for me as I could not find what I was looking for,then they forced me to take a gift card and when I ask about what was written on the slip regarding their terms, the gentleman who helped me just ignored me and continued to issue a gift card.JAM ANDRIES STREET PRETORIA
