*********** Debt Collector.

This is just one of numerous debt collectors employed by Telkom to recover a socalled debt from me. I explained the situation in detail to their first call centre consultant who promised to resolve the matter. Nothing transpired and they and Telkom who do not understand the difference between debit and credit still maintain I owe them money. Brief background is in Oct 2019 the landline phones in my area was discontinued. Numerous requests for wireless phones were made to Telkom consultants as well as visits to the shops in Pavilion and Westwood. The Telkom account was debited every month with the rent for the landline phone despite there being no service. On insistance of the Telkom consultants I paid and kept the account up to date, it was stated that once I get the wireless phone all the payments will be credited. Up to today I have not received the wireless phone has made payments of R800 which leaves me in credit. No one could guarentee deluvery date of the wireless phone so I stopped paying the monthly account .But those *********** Telkom people and their debt collectors do not have the intellect to understand something as elementary as this.
