Horribly unprofessional receptionist!
Rude and unprofessional receptionist! I called to make an appointment, they were fully booked and the Dr could only see my son in six weeks. On the day of our appointment the receptionist calls and requests to cancel because the dr has an emergency and I agree but now she can’t give me a similar appointment that is in the afternoon when my child gets back from school. She can only fit us in two days later or in two weeks at times when my child would be in school. She got agitated when I explained that I am being very understanding that the dr is dealing with unforeseen circumstances and that they should also be understanding and accommodating on their side.

16 Apr 2024, 07:51That is not true, why would I decline an appointment that is similar and that is in two days? When I waited 6 weeks for the first appointment? She offered me 8am and 3pm, my child comes out of school at 3:30pm. And yes she was very rude for asking me if I expect her to cancel other people’s appointments to accommodate me.

That is not true, why would I decline an appointment that is similar and that is in two days? When I waited 6 weeks for the first appointment? She offered me 8am and 3pm, my child comes out of school at 3:30pm. And yes she was very rude for asking me if I expect her to cancel other people’s appointments to accommodate me.

I understood that the Dr was dealing with some unforeseen circumstances, and I accepted that my appointment be moved, why would I refuse to wait just two more days? The reason I waited six weeks in the first place was because it was the only time available where both the dr and my child would be both available. Why would she offer to put me on a waiting list when there’s two similar times available? With the first available similar time in two days? Does that make sense to you? She offered me the waiting list because she failed to find another similar time for me, which should not be my problem. Please listen to that recording again.
