Wrong Order returned but refused a refund

I used uber eats and ordered from McDonalds in Hamilton Pretoria. My order included a large meat as an extra and coke light with no ice. My order was delivered just after 21:00. The large meat was not there and the coke had a lot of ice and basically was water. I called the store and spoke to a manager called Madeleine Kekae, who did not believe my story and eventually told me to hold on to the burger, she will get her driver to deliver another one when he comes back and i should give the other to the driver. She could not provide me with the drivers ETA, was not listening to me. Around 21:45 i decided to drive to Mcdonalds with their burger and i asked for Madelein and gave her their burger and asked for y refund, she said she cannot refund me, they had decided to add the patty on the burger of which was a small patty not what i had ordered. She refused to refund me because Uber eats pays them monthly and Uber eats has items on their menu that they no longer have instore. She failed to take responsibility and accountability for their mistake. I drove from my house in the middle of the night, was not refunded, she was not listening, and at 22:40 i ger a call that a driver is outside to deliver my food and i requested him to turn back as i cannot open my gate that late, had lost my appetite. This was the worst experience. This is not the firat time this has happened at the same branch. Previously i had been assisted by capable managers who took responsibility and ensure that their error was rectified. I paid for food that i did not have.
