Worst customer service experienced in my life, on the 26.01.2019 i had placed an online order on their APP which prompts you for payment by card or cash upon delivery.

My order was placed and since i did not have cash i used the card option which prompts you for your card details and takes your money out of your account immediately.

With no warning to Customers that deliveries will not be made if there is slight rain outside. ( Debonairs delivers in the rain and does not take your money prior delivery )

After placing my order we get a phone call from McDonald's, telling us that we note your order however we will not be making deliveries due to the weather conditions.

We than inquire what happens to the money that has been taken online from our account as we been told your order cannot be delivered.

The lady than says she will make a plan and they can deliver by 21:00pm we placed our order at 16:00pm

2 hours later i realize the rain has not been falling for the past 40mins and i have driven past Deboniars delivery boys in this weather wet roads but no longer raining so i call them to find out what the excuse is now as they have said they will make a plan since we have paid for our meal already.

Hungry and upset as i am i get hold of a ''Bongani'' who claims he is the manager at the restaurant.

I kindly ask him to please check my order reference number : 274-26/01/2 ********** 3

He quickly response sir we are not doing deliveries due to the weather conditions..

I reply okay but it has not been raining for the past hour already and i have paid for my meal and the lady that called said she would make a plan..

He than request for my name i state Jonathan he than says we have nothing i than say please check under my Girl friends name Natasha he again rudely says we do not have your order sir.

I tell him i have confirmation of my order and someone just called and said they would make a plan.

He clearly states we only have a Katlego on our system is what i was told.

I than say okay and drop the call, I than check the order and not that we had done everything correct and they have delivered previously.

I knew i would not get any Joy from the manager as he was arrogant and just **** to me repeatedly.

I wrote to the customer care hoping they would resolve the matter or atleast let me know where my order had gone too from there app as we had our address and everything was in order.

Customer care i spoke to a Sidwille who did not even listen to my complaint and quickly said he will arrange the refund for me.

Giving up i accepted, he also said i would receive an sms regarding my refund of which i did not received. So i called again the following day and spoke to Nishandre who was very helpful and arrange the refund and sent the complaint to the restaurant manager.

On the 30th Nishandre calls me and lets me know my refund will be processed i should receive an sms of which i did receive.

the call there after was from the wonderful Mcdonalds GHANDI SQUARE Manager Josephine.

Who calls me with the same attitude and arrogance Bongani had on Saturday.

Continuing with the lies that my order did not reach there restaurant and telling me that they do not deliver in rainy conditions and the order was cancelled and the driver could not deliver without taking payment after i told her that i had paid that is why i am upset.

She ignores what i am complaining about and defends her restaurant and the actions of her colleague.

i get irate and tell her that you just as Bongani are not listening to me and telling me whats convenient for you.

As you are saying you have no order under my name but just as i told Bongani please check under Natasha, she than agrees there is a order under my girl friends name. but because shes speaking to Jonathan they did not pick it up.

Clearly because you choose not to listen to the customer...

No apology given throw out the phone call just defending because they know they can get away with treating customers the way the feel like. Absolute bad service from this restaurant, the worst i have ever experienced.

I will not support a Mcdonalds ever!!
