Very good customer service at McDonald's Rondebosch

Upon having ordered a meal from McDonalds Rondebosch, Cape Town on Uber Eats. I discovered that the Chocolate Milkshake I had ordered with the meal, tasted a bit odd. I tasted a I continued drinking to gauge what the problem was and after a few more sips I realized that the dairy tasted with a certain level of bitterness to it that indicated it had reached passed it's expiry date. I then swiftly took to the McDonalds customer service helplines where I lodged a formal complaint on the McDonalds site.

The following day I was contacted telephonically by McDonalds for further clarification on what my exact experience was. After a very kind conversation with a patient and helpful consultant I was asked to please make a journey back to the restaurant to do a quality check on their milkshakes now that they had cleaned their ice-cream machine and refilled it with fresh dairy.

Upon my arrival at the restaurant I was immediately acknowledged and attended to by the woman whom I had been told to ask for over the phone. I was given a regular sized serving of the milkshake to perform a taste test. Satisfied with the results I assured them that their product had returned to the delicious standard that their customers enjoyed. They then offered me a complimentary large chocolate shake to thank me for going in that day and to serve as an apology for the mishap that had occurred .

I remain thoroughly impressed and happy with the stellar service they offer their customers. As a result I will continue to be a loyal customer who will always have a good story to tell about the McDonalds Rondebosch franchise. One can only expect good customer service at the McDonalds in Rondebosch
