Unacceptable service for a kiddies party

I booked a party for my 7 year old daughter for Saturday 6 June at 16:00. The Manager called me on the day to tell me that the cake that I had ordered was damaged and that they could not replace it and that I should buy a cake somewhere else and bring it with. I had to say no problem as I was at work and could not show my disgust as it was inappropriate at work. I booked at McDonalds because i thought it would be easy as they would do everything for me and I would have to worry about nothing. I work in Canal Walk so i still had to go look for cake then get home to Grassy Park then make my way to Retreat. We got to McDonalds at 15:30 and nothing was set up. They still had to clean and set up. I already had guests waiting. The place was only setup by 16:15. The kids were already hungry and my daughter was crying of hunger. The girl took the orders twice and the adults who ordered separately had received their food and some of the children were asking the adults for something to eat. I think this was extremely unacceptable. I had to scratch in the girls box also for candles for my daughters cake and they gave me a plastic knife to cut the cake and it could hardly cut the cake
