The McDonald's delivery service is the worst food delivery service i have ever encountered

The McDonald's delivery service is the worst food delivery service i have ever encountered. the service is unreliable and completely useless to say the least.

Yesterday evening (17/10/10) around 20:00, I placed an order for delivery. Mind you according to google maps i live 2min (900 Meters) from the store.

The driver called me at 22:15, 2 hours later to say the delivery was at the gate, of which by then more than 2 hours had passed and i was already in bed. I informed the driver that i have gone to bed and i refuse to get out of bed to come to the gate, I then proceeded to ask the driver to keep the food as it was already paid for by card.

This is not the first time that i have had extra waiting time for delivery to take place which is rather disappointing as i have used other outlets in my area, some much further than McDonald's but the delivery time is a friction compared to that of McDonald's.

To make matters worse i called the McDelivery call centre around 21:00, i was informed the store is about to call me. The store called me and told me they are still preparing the meal, of which by then an hour had already passed. At 22:09 i called the call center again, of which by then the call center was closed and i had not even received my order, thats when i decided to call it a night,
