The incompetence of McDonalds / McDelivery

McDonalds is utterly disgusting . On Saturday 29 June 2019, I placed an order with McDonalds at 16h20 for 2x Double Quarter pounder meals. The estimated delivery time would be 20h30 to 20h45

At 20h50 I contacted the call centre to find out out what happened to our meal only to be left on hold for nearly 10 minutes and then to be told "the Restaurant is extremely busy and they are waiting for a driver and they would call personally to apologise." I then asked the lady are we then going to get the meal at 22h00 and she assured me that it won't be 22h00 it will be sooner. At 21h40 I called the call center again to find where the meal is.. the lady tried calling the restaurant, kept me on hold for 10 minutes again to be told that the store manager is on leave and the store is closed and they don't know what happened to my order when she said I placed the order at 16h20 that day. This was at 22h05 we went to sleep hungry for waiting on McDonalds that is so ***********. I am so disgusted in McDonalds .... my little girl went to sleep hungry for waiting..Do you think this is fair?? Not even a phone call from the restaurant to let us know our meal will be arriving late or it will not arrive at all!!!!! I would of then made an alternative arrangements
