Special deals not accessible at McDonald's

I got an alert on my McDonald's app. A number of special offers were added to my profile. On going to my local McDonald's, I was informed that the app was not functional at that store. I had to pay tbe full price and disregard the "special deals" presented to me. The assist could not tell me why the app was not activated in an established store. She said that it was deactivated before the lockdown but has not yet been reinstalled. This is false advertising because on entering the store, you are now informed that the special deals offered to you cannot be accessed due to a system problem. This needs to be addressed.
