Soda machine out of order,the customer pays

So it's Saturday evening and the kids want Macdonalds. Observatory Macdonalds has always provided poor service but it was the closest one to us.<br> <br> I ordered the double cheese burger meals, the manager on duty happens to take my order.<br> He advised that the Soda Machines are out of order, so they cannot offer any cool drinks, but I can have juice r milkshake with the meal.<br> I was like, awesome, but let me confirm I will not pay anything extra?<br> <br> The manager advised that I will actually have to pay extra if I take juice or milkshakes. I was not happy and said that it should not become the customers problem that your machines are nit working. If you want to offer something else, you need to absorb the cost.<br> <br> I said, ok, let say I take 3 juices with the 3 meals, how much more extra? He quoted me R35 extra.<br> I then asked what if I dont take any cooldrinks, he quoted me R0.50c less on the cost of my meal.<br> <br> He refused to accomodate me, these calculations did nt even make sense.<br> Macdonalds, you really know nothing about service, and Your Observatory branch sucks big time.<br> Teach your manager the skills required to keep a customer not turn them away. He simply did not seem to care.<br>
