Sickness caused by ice cream

I am writing to express my absolute shock and outrage at the service and food safety standards at the McDonald’s located at the Shell Garage in Amanzimtoti. my husband and I purchased ice cream sundaes from this branch. Shortly after consuming them, we both developed extreme abdominal pains and severe diarrhea. What we thought was a simple treat has turned into a nightmare; we have been violently ill for several days, and standard medication has provided no relief. The situation has become so critical that my husband is currently hospitalised due to the severity of the illness caused by your product. It is completely unbelievable that an ice cream could cause this much physical and financial distress. We are unsure if the machines were contaminated or if the ingredients were expired, but the results have been devastating. This is a massive health and safety failure. I expect a formal investigation into the hygiene standards of the dessert station at this branch and a direct response regarding how you intend to rectify this.
