Shocking Experience at McDonalds Bruma

In all my years going to McDonalds I have never experienced such rude and uncalled for behaviour from any of the hostesses. I have always been under the impression that McDonalds is a family/kid friendly joint but based on this afternoon's experience I am obviously wrong.

I was completely shocked by the behaviour we received this afternoon from hostess "Meliswa Songola" at McDonalds Bruma. The lady who was cleaning the man's toilets and was upset by the behaviour of our kids (who apparently were playing with water & toilet paper in the tolilets) stormed out of the toilets practically yanking our kids (5 yrs & 4yrs) out of the bathroom and asked "whose kids are these". It was obvious she knew they were our kids as she directed the question directly at us.. we indicated that they were indeed our kids and asked what had they done and she went on to say they were playing in the bathroom. Her tone as she spoke to us was absolutely disrespectful and while we were still trying to digest what she was saying she clicked her tongue at us and walked off. I was so shocked by this and called her back saying "excuse me" but she just kept walking off and kept bubbling away..I followed her and told her not to click her tongue at us as that was not good customer services and to call her manager. She just kept going on and on about how the kids had messed the toilet and how they needed to be taught some manners...Gone are the days of customer service. Obviously McDonalds is not taking the time to train their staff on how to talk to customers...This behaviour would have been understood if the kids had damaged property, but hey it seems playing with water & toilet paper is a big thing at McDonalds Bruma...

Her manager appeared and was very apologetic about her behaviour and said she will talk to her. Please note that "Neliswa Songola"just went on and on even whilst her manager was trying to contain the situation...

I however have to command the manager "Charmaine Selaledi" whose approach was much more civilised and in line with her manageress title. Definitely good job on her part

We left in a storm as the lady Neliswa just kept going on to the extent of having a face to face confrontation with my sister,.At no point at all did she keep quiet or even apologise,..her manager did all the apologies on her part...

Needless to say I will never set foot in McDonalds Bruma again..

Very Dissappointed...
