Self help service malfunction resulting in points being redeemed and no Happy meal

On Sunday, 15 February 2026 I wanted to redeem my Mc Donalds points for a Happy Meal. The Self Help service desk was very slow in reading my code. I asked for assistance at restuarant but as the assistant exited the restuarant to assist me, the time had already passed for me to scan my code. My points were already redeemed and I was not able to receive my happy meal.

I have always received very good service at this establishment and I am very disappointed that I was not able to receive my happy meal due to a slow self help service ordering machine.
