Scratch card promotion ****!

I received 2x 2D Numetro movie tickets as part of the Large meal scratch card promotion you recently had.

Voucher codes are: JE8JJYV4B9K and J1R2NTJM49K

Upon arriving at Nu Metro the cashier informed me that only 1 of the codes worked and that there was an error on the second code which she could not explain , it just said Unexpected error.

When I asked her to cancel the purchase , she informed me that she could not as she had already entered the first code which was now used and that we need to take the 1 ticket.

What the hell are we supposed to do with 1 ticket?? Should I watch the movie while my husband waits for me outside? What is the point of that?!!

She further told us to call your 011 helpline at 9pm! And ofcourse your offices were closed!

Now Mcdonalds , first of all it is totally unacceptable for you to issue 2 codes but only 1 if the codes work!

Secondly we had to stand in a full cinema completely embarrassed because of this! The numetro staff just blatantly tells us that its not their fault but yours and that they cannot do anything , refusing to help or to accept any form of responsibility!

Is this just some money making scheme for you to get people to spend more money on a Large meal and peddle customers to Nu metro where customers are now forced to pay for their second ticket!

Thus increasing both your sales at Mcdonalds and Numetro!!!

If your going to run promotions and prizes , atleast make sure your stuff works!!

I insist that you provide me with updated codes for wasting my time!

Furthermore ensure that a manager attends to this complaint ASAP!
