Rude McDonald's Staff in Greenpoint

I was overcharged for a meal at McDonald's Greenpoint. I notified the cashier of the error and asked for a refund. She told me they don't do refunds on cards I then asked for her manager and explained that I didn't order the extra meal. Madge, the 1st manager I spoke to was nonchalant and not interested in what I had to say as she was still chewing her lunch, she called another manager and went back to lunch without resolving the issue. I was then referred to Skizzo who was patronizing, he was trying to explain the refund policy but kept on referring to my sister and me as "magents and friends" when I told him i won't accept the liability of his cashiers mistake. At this point I was irate and annoyed but remained respectful as I asked him to stop referring to me as "friend and magents". He slammed the drive through window and walked away, by this time my sister and I were at the drive through window for about half an hour and nobody was attending to us. A cashier who seemed to be changing shifts with Liyabona, the waitress who made the mistake, apologized for Skizzo's behavior and said she'd call someone else who would do her best to resolve the issue. I spoke to Thandiswa who apologized profusely for the behavior of the above mentioned managers and she resolved the issue within 10 minutes.

We spent almost an hour at the drive through and basically became a laughing stock as Skizzo closed the window and walked away while I was still talking to him. We missed our picnic, by the time we ate our food the chips were dry, the cooldrink was watered down and the burger was cold. I wasted my time and money going to McDonald's. I've never felt so disrespected in my life, my sister who's pregnant was getting worked up and we ended canceling our picnic because she was so disappointed by the experience.

I will be taking this further because Madge and especially the rude Skizzo ruined a perfect Sunday outing.
