Refund - McDonald's George (Courtany St)

Worst customer service experience I've ever experienced. My family and I ate there 19/08 and mad3 use of their self service till points, made a payment and the pay went through on my bank account but the card machine said failed. I was advised to pay AGAIN at the front end till, and told by the hostess that the payment will reverse and if not to come in the next day with bank statements. No reversal happened - go in the 20th with no one that is able to assist, advised to return on Monday the 22nd, which I did (keep in mind this is costing additional petrol, airtime, bank costs and unpaid time away from work) after speaking to two employees I finally got to a manager who took my details and said they'll get back to me by the end of the day bit also trying to sell me the same order so that no payout has to be made. Yesterday I phoned again due to NO FEEDBACK, with again, no one to assist with my query. Phoned the customer care line that answered with and automated message advising that you now have to go to the website and use the 'chat' option, bit you cannot do that before registering on the site to receive their all their promotional BS, so I ended up phoning the headoffice (got through to a switchboard) that took a message for customer care to call me (which they did, 2 hours later), but at that point I could talk and asked if the could phone back 4:30pm,they agreed and I'm still waiting on that call. Phoned the store again today, spoke to the manager and was told that it was sent in - no word on when this will be resolved and no explanation of why I received no feedback (just a sorry neh) for the inconvenience and extra cost they've forced me to encur to get MY money back because of an error THEY made. And since you cant seem to get an answer out of anyone or feedback I'll leave this here - I want a refund on my whole purchase including the additional payment that has yet to be reimbursed.
