RAW CHICKEN BURGER

In a rush and hoping to save time, on my way from work I drive past the Mc’Donldas in rosebank next to the Engen on Oxford road.

I’ve been there twice in the last month and both times had their Mc’chicken meal. Absolutely loved it. So I decided I’d get my self one again.

Being in a rush and never receiving bad food from them before I drove off in a rush to get home and enjoy my meal and get back into my studies as I had an exam the next morning.

On my way to home I get caught in traffic and decide okay well don’t want my food to get cold, let me try eat now.

So not really being able to admire my burger as it approached my mouth. I take a nice big bite and chew and swallow.

But wait, it’s not warm at all but actually ice cold. So I look down and put my finger into my now slightly eaten chicken patty to find out it’s completely raw. Not half cooked, but RAW!!

I instantly feel sick in my realization and at the same time a flying rage.

I drive now all the way back to the McDonald’s to see the manager. Now not being an ass-hole, I simply point out that I had eaten a raw chicken burger and gave her the burger.

With no concern over the fact that not only raw food had been served, or that I had actually eaten it. She simply offered me cooked one. Put off by the food now I have my brother the burger instead and just went home needing to focus on my exam the next morning.

Needles to say my stomach was in absolute agony the entire evening and early morning but luckily came right before I needed to write.

All I can say is I hope that this was a once off experience not just for me but for future customers.

However I doubt I’d be eating there again for a very long time.
