Putrid Service With No Smile

McDonald's Plumstead Drive-Thru 9 Burnham Rd &, Gabriel Rd, Plumstead, Cape Town, 7801, South Africa ***

Service at the McDonald Plumstead is a blatant disregard for customer service.

It clearly states that the doors opening time is 07:00 am - 10 pm. I was told to use drive-through instead as their "System" was offline inside. I literally saw the staff having coffee and chatting before their doors had opened, but the premises in front was still dirty and attracting birds and flies and they only started to clean at 07:00 am. Staff should inspect their premises and clean before the 1st customer walks in and be welcomed by the Macdonalds staff. This wasn't the case.

Service should be done with a smile and not when staff is waking up at 07:00 am, after having their coffee first before the customers. Instead of servicing customers, the staff at McDonald's Plumstead are on a "Go-Slow". Floors that still need cleaning after 07:00 am, cracking jokes, and even staff coming late for a shift.

The service is different from that received in Pinelands, Mitchells Plain, and Observatory. Paying customers wants service, not to be told to use drive-thru's at 07:00 am, as the staff is busy cleaning floors, knowing that they have 30mins before getting things ready so that the doors can open for service at 07:00 am, and not being told to wait for 7mins due to system issues.

I Can't understand any of this blatant disregard for customer service.
