Pull Forward in an Empty Drive-Thru? How About NO!

I am sick and tired of going to McDonald’s Drive Thrus and getting to the pick up window only to be handed my food and then asked to pull forward and wait for my COFFEE at 8:30 in the morning WHEN THERE IS NOBODY ELSE IN THE DRIVE THRU!! If I had asked for a McFlurry at 8:30am and had to wait (which I probably wouldn’t because the ice cream machine would be broken) then I would understand, but a coffee? Seriously? Besides, even if for some pathetic reason it did take long to make a coffee, why should I have to pull forward if there is no one else behind me?? The place is literally empty and you’re asking me to move forward? And then when I refuse for perfectly logical reasons, the lady at the window catches an attitude and practically throws my food at me and walks away. This has happened to me on more than one occasion at more than one branch, and I am tired of it! Get it together McDonald’s!
