Poor drinks quality from McDonald's Brackenfell AND lousy attitude from branch manager
I'd like to bring to the attention of McDonald's authorities the bad quality of hot drinks, McDonald's Brackenfell make, poor service management and a lousy attitude the branch manager has.
On the morning of Tuesday, 16 April 2019 I bought a regular latte through their "drive-thru." After order collection I parked sideways, to add other contents ()sugar to my supposedly hot drink where I realized it was luke warm and very milky. I could not go back to the store as I was rushing off to work, so I decided to not drink but keep it until I got back from work to return it. The cold factor I could have endured, as I would warm up the drink when I got to the office. But the milk was just too much.
Upon my return from work I made a turn by the store, told them the above story and the compromised quality. I went on to ask for a voucher since I no longer wanted anything from them, given it was a second encounter to get a cold coffee. I was then advised that they do not issue vouchers nor cash, the only thing they could offer is another drink.
I left the Latte as I did not have use for I, with nothing in exchange. All this sucking discussion was with the shift manager, Neliswa Rasmeni. With a Branch Manager (some Ndoro person) that is full of himself, who thinks he is mighty to meet customers when they have complaints. The shift manager was acting like a spokesperson, as she would relay messages between myself and branch manager, since I had requested to talk to him. The branch manager that is too absorbed to whatever he is absorbed to, to invest in staff training to make quality food and give attention and detail to what they do - to uphold McDonald's recipe standards. Who serves cold hot drink, unless they're asked to. Who half fills a cup with milk for a regular coffee, or a Latte in this instance.
All this said, I hereby request the community of Hello Peter to assist in escalating the matter to the authorities of McDonald, and to get my money back. I maintain what I said to the shift manager, that I don't want anything from them as I don't trust the quality.
Sincerely, Zimasa Tyala
