Please clarify my concern.

Good morning McDonald's Bloemfontein CBD & Bloemfontein, I drove to McDonald's in the CBD of Bloemfontein today to order lunch, with the help of the promotions on the McDonald's mobile App. I got to McDonald's & went straight to the self help kiosk, where I counted scan the QR code, that was displayed on the App. The instructed me to proceed to the cashier, should I experience difficulty, which I gladly did. Upon my arrival at the cashier, which was very friendly towards me, she also experience difficulty scanning the QR code, whom then called the Manageress, also very friendly. I was then told by the Manageress that non of the McDonald's stores in Bloemfontein accept those QR codes anymore.

My question to McDonald's is, what's the use of advertising an App & products if the App & products are no longer working?
