Pathetic Service/Untrained Staff

McDonald’s in Pinetown.

There’s is a very high unemployment rate in RSA. Whatever race it is but lots of people suffer from it. South Africa have Graduates, matriculants and lots underprivileged people and people would take whatever they can get in order to support their families.

Those who are fortunate get that opportunity to get out of poverty or an opportunity to improve their lives. I understand that we all have different personalities but what some of us don’t understand in a working environment is that as an employee we are Brand Ambassadors. Each client/customer we deal with is an opportunity for each & every employee to promote the brand & also showcase individual s**** or talent to customers & management, every transaction or situation we face is every employee’s interview.

Millions of people have been offered jobs while working at the till, while being a petrol attendant etc and that happens every single day.

At Pinetown McDonald’s today while placing an order at the drive Thru, I had such a bad experience, something I’ve never seen or heard before. A cashier that takes orders who’s name is Noxolo Magubane Gabe gave me such a bad attitude which was unbelievable & so disgusting. I placed an order & asked for Nuggets then she asked “How many”, I asked what do number do they come in? She said they come in a pair of 6, 8 & 10 then I asked how much do they cost.

They dumb idiot says “Oh my god”! Which means I’m irritang her or I’m an idiot by not knowing how much Nuggets are.

Then when I asked her why she said that & why she’s giving attitude she just ignored me for about 20 seconds then again asked me what do I want.

I’m not sure if a price for Nuggets is displayed by the drive Thru but if it is, there’s no customer who would remember a price for every single things that’s displayed at the drive Thru. When we get to her to pay, the manager was there & the guy never said a single word but instead the girl ran away while we were talking to her & we were attended by B. Mkhize.

This kind of service is ****in’ b*ll sh*t, the type of person she is is what we call uLwabishi & fuc*kin skum. There are a lot of people who would do a better job than her instead of driving customer to KFC across the road.
