Pathetic Service Macdonalds Pretoria North

If I could give you no start that would be better.

On Sunday 20th August 2023 my wife and I took a driver from Alberton to Pretoria. Upon getting to Pretoria we needed lunch and a bathroom. We went to MacDonalds Pretoria North and upon entering we went directly to the bathrooms before ordering.

One of your unpleasant staff members screamed from the front of the store to the back for the lady there to not let my wife and I make use of the bathrooms. They insisted we order food first before making use of the bathrooms. She asked if i was paying by card or cash and insisted i pay her before i could use the bathroom. I duly did so and asked her not to get my order wrong.

Upon using the bathroom i had to use one that was filthy. The person before me who used it messed it and i had to clean it.

Upon getting my food to eat, she got the order wrong. I complained and she said they were not wrong. Until they saw the order on their system and she took my wrong order and made a new one.

Upon eating i asked a waitress for serviettes and she said they did not have and they were waiting for the supplier to send some.

Here''s my issue:

Train your people to handle customers in a better way and not scream in the store among other clients. I felt really uncomfortable in your store

Make sure your toilets are clean before you make demands on the next client for wanting to use your bathroom

Put up a sign that says please order food in order to make use of our toilets

Train your staff on how to treat customers

If your store does not have serviettes please send your manager to buy some at spar or checkers so that your store can give a customer a full experience

all round pathetic service

ive tried calling several times to speak to the operations manager or director and i can never get any of them as the customer services agent does not put the call through

the store manager responded to me by just saying sorry. If this was someone else they would have thrown a tantrum in that store. I do not appreciate Macdonlds and their staff in pretoria north.

I WANT AN OPERATIONS MANAGER TO CALL ME AND I WANT TO KNOW WHAT THE PLAN OF ACTION WILL BE GOING FORWARD REGARDING ALL THE STAFF IN THAT STORE. I CANNOT BELIEVE A MANAGER WAS SUPPOSED TO BE THERE AND WAS NOT AWARE OF THIS BEFORE SHE CALLED ME.

PATHETIC MACDONALDS........REALLY PATHETIC.

I told customer services that i did not want to speak to a manager but the OPERATIONS MANAGER or else i will put this on every social media platform and a store manager still called me. Goes to show that they do not know how to carry out instructions.

My patronage will never be with them again.
