No scan to pay option

So i went to McDonald's sunnyside to buy breakfast, did not have my card with me and i asked to use the scan to pay option, i was told that they dont have the option. At the counter they have the samsung pay advert, i asked to use that one too and she said to me she doesnt know how it works, went on to call someone to assist and the guy was like remove this thing cause it doesnt work.

Hauw McD, does it not work or ur Crew just dont know how to use it? Pleas eeducate them and move with times. Not everyone carries their card with them this days. Im so dissapointed.
