No joy for my boy at McDonalds

<p>It is with disappointment and anger that I report that I've NEVER been able to buy the correct promotional toy for the week as advertised at McDonald's in Kuils River EVER!</p> <p> </p> <p>After visiting McDonald's Kuils River in last week I was told that the toy for boys for the week, a sought after little Dinosaur, has been sold out, but was promised that they would try and make a plan to obtain more of these toys as the demand therefor was huge. Believe you me the only toys they have had in stock now for literally weeks is the smurfs! After receiving no feedback (as I was promised feedback) at all for the rest of the week, I, yesterday, to my disgust, went back only to hear there is still no stock.</p> <p> </p> <p>I've requested the only person willing to try and assist, a young man, to please phone the Bellville branch for me to find out whether they had stock, and after not even a minute he was back to tell me he cannot get through on their telephone line. :(</p> <p> </p> <p>I then took the drive yesterday evening to the Bellville branch who also "ran out of stock" to the huge disappointment of my 8 year old son.</p> <p> </p> <p>Who does McDonalds employ to do their planning and ordering??????? Obviously these people are NOT knowledgeable at all.</p> <p> </p> <p>This is not the first time I'm struggling with the exact same situation. I am not particularly fond of the food at McDonalds, but keep on returning for the sake of my son for a play and a toy, but WOW! if it is this hard to plan properly and keep sufficient stock, I'm afraid I will need to give McDonald's a miss in future.</p>
