N1 city McDonald's poor service

This morning at 07:29,my hubby and I stopped for a mcds breakfast at the drivethrough. When we came to the cashier window. There was a man laying over the counter into the cashier window. Legs danglinf outside. The cashier and he were chatting. My husband wanted him to move in order to pay and the guy said my husband had to pass the card around him. Please note that the cashier did not ask this person to get down so that we can be served, she continued speaking to him. My husband insisted that he leave the window so that we can pay. He then proceeded to stand on the passenger side of the car. She didn't apologize to us, just took the money and continued. I called the branch and asked to speak to the manager, Chantel advised I can speak to her which I did. She said she would check the video. She called me back promptly and said that they watched the video and saw what had happened. She spoke to the cashier who said it was a customer who wanted a receipt from yesterday. This is mind boggling to me. Where were the covid protocols??? She didn't sanitize the counter, ask this person to leave. Absolutely nothing. At one point we thought that this person was going to rob us because he was acting so strange. Mcdonald's n1 city. Not on at all
