McDonald's Thohoyandou experience was hell

Good day,

Trust you well.

I am not well at all.

On the 26th of December I took my kids to McDonald's in Thohoyandou and I regret spending my money on such an unpleasant experience.

Firstly the swing are closed with no explanation, and like I said I went there for the kids, 2 and 4 years to be precise.

When we got there we used the kiosk by our selves which just proves how much McDonald's we eat,it shows loyalty because first time customer would have probably needed help.I chose the table service menu,Eat in.

I was shocked that when our food came,25mins later,It seemed like our order was incomplete.

I thought they bring a second tray with the rest of the things but No,that was it.

All our drinks which included juice for 2 kiddies meals did not have lids,all the food was on 1 tray and we didn't have straws.

My husband stood up to ask for the lids and straws peacefully because we that maybe they forgot but he was told only takeaway orders get lids and straws ,he explained that we brought kids and they won't be able to drink using the cups alone,but they still refused and they said it was protocol and when my husband returned to tell me that I was shocked because I eat McDonald's every week and have never heard of such, yes I was in a different province but McDonald's should still be McDonald's.

I got up and took the juices to the serving area to ask if they are sure about what they saying,asked if the see the size of a regular apple juice that they expect my son to pick up...

After a back ans forth,they gave me lids and straws only for the kids juice but was told they won't give me so we still had to drink using the cups with no lids.

My kids had to eat on the table surface because we were not given trays for them.

The toilets were locked and was told there is no water.

It seemed like nothing was functional in the McDonald's.

We were really unhappy because we could have spent our R333 at kfc but because of the years and years relationship I personally have with McDonald's since I was a toddler till today ,I chose McDonald's and I regret it.

Tried taking the service survey using the instructions on the slips but came across an error.

Please see how you can correct this, if not for the kids and the food being brought to the table already,we would have preferred a refund and left to spend our hard earned money elsewhere.
