McDonalds Somerset-west and the McDonalds app

We ordered food from the McDonald's App. We are in Somerset-West at the moment and 1 hour later nothing happened. We contacted McDonald's and only to find out the Somerset-west branch hasn't even accepted the order. We were told they would call back with info. 15 min later no response. We called again only for them to place us on hold. We called again and then tasked for the order to be refunded and cancelled and they said they would send us a link for the refund. Instead we recieved a message saying the driver was on the way it is now 1.5 hours since we have ordered and nothing has been delivered, just received a message saying the courier has arrived and still no link, no order, no driver NOTHING! This service is disgusting. The app is outdated and slow and works badly. I am very unhappy. Along with the fact that the refund will take 5 - 7 working days to be returned on something they messed up and didn't recieve. This is not okay. I do not recommend using the McDonald's app and I do not recommend online service for McDonald's somerset west.
