McDonalds Skimping in Order to Maximize Profits and Save.

This is not the first nor second nor third time this has happened to us. This is specifically to do with the McDonalds in Middleburg at the Middleburg mall.

Everytime you buy food from them, the chips are always filled up halfway, I think it has been only twice that I have received a full portion of chips. Every other time they are always filled only half way or less. This is also happening on the back of McDonalds changing their sizing convention, whereby a large is now an XL, a medium is a large and a small is now a medium.

This is purely steeling. They increased there sizes on all their meals, including a drastic increase in their prices, and yet they only fill chips up half way? Or is this in order to maximize profits by appealing to people’s psyche in creating larger sizes but fill them up the same as before the sizing change? So we paying more for a larger size but still receiving the same amount of chips, if not less? And McDonalds is reaping all the profits. If 500 000 people a day buy a McDonald’s meal in SA and they apply this same strategy imagine how much they are saving by *****ing from us.

This is day light ******* across South Africa, because it’s not only the McDonalds in Middleburg which operates in this way. I think it’s time that the franchise owners start being held accountable for allowing/promoting their franchise to be run like this.
