McDonald's pathetic service

Pathetic service from staff and assistant manager at McDonald's in Fourways.

Whenever I ordered a Spicy Cajun Chicken Burger, I always got a burger with the orange hot sauce, I never ever had to specifically request this sauce.

Upon receiving the burger with mayonnaise instead of this hot sauce, I took the burger back to the teller and requested that my order be rectified.

I was then told to pay an additional R4-50 because I failed to mention that I wanted the hot sauce and not the mayonnaise.

The assistant manager pointed out that I should have order a HOT Spicy Cajun Burger. I pointed out that the grand chicken spicy comes with hot sauce and the grand chicken comes with mayonnaise, so by saying that hot is spicy but spicy is not hot is the most idiotic statement a person could make since they are in direct contradiction with their own menu.

After arguing for 10 minutes, the assistant manager just walked away while I was still speaking to her and appeared a minute later with a tub of hot sauce.

This is not the method in which to attend to customer queries and it should not have taken a minute to squirt sauce from a dispenser.

I will never visit the Fourways crossing branch again as the level of incompetence outweighs the level of service received.

Rather drive to another branch.
