McDonald's not so 24 hours

I could have written this review months go, but hadn't found the time. I'm just frustrated now and have been experiencing the same thing over and over with McDonalds and false advertising.

Why does McDonald's claim to be 24 hours when it clearly isn't?

Everytime I go to McDonald's after 1am/2am, after a night out with friends, they are always OFFLINE or OUT OF STOCK. As in always! The most recent incident was on the 3rd December around 12:55am. We drove through the drive through and greeted on the order box, the lady just said, the system is offline, this was the McDonald's in Centurion on Hendrick Vervoerd Dr. We then drove to the McDonald's at Jean Crossing, we were told they were out of stock. OUT OF STOCK! When we asked if this was really the fact, the lady said, "apparently so". This is just annoying. You must say you close at midnight and reopen at 5am and stop lying to us, or manage your franchise better, this is totally unacceptable.
