McDonalds Newcastle snail pace drive through

Yesterday 15/09/2019 went to McDonald's Newcastle to buy their famous oreo mcflurry's via drive through. Waited 10 mins before placing and order, mind you the queue wasn't even long. Placed my order at 16:08 according to my slip and waited for the ice and only recieved it 16: 30. Nobody's explaining why we waited so long they staff os busy chatting and laughing amongst themselves. I'm not sure of the entire staff by the drive thru is new or they ate casuals but that was the worst drive through service ever. And for a mere ice cream, its ridiculous that I had to wait that long for ice cream and deive thru's are meant to be fast.
