McDonalds Kathu

On our way back from Cape Town we stopped at Mc Donalds in Kathu, Northern Cape. We placed an order inside the store at approximately 08:00. There were only three people working at the store. The store was not particularly busy but we waited almost an hour for the order. We ordered 6 mega Mc****in meals, a quarter pounder meal and a chicken burger meal. Four of the people that ordered the mega mc ****in meals and the person who had the chicken burger contracted a bacteria that caused diarrhoea, vommitting and dehydrated severely. Another customer in the store who ordered coffee asked for her money back after waiting for approximately 30 minutes for her coffee. She also warned me standing in the store that there are flies sitting on the food being prepared. She repeated this comment to the rest of my family standing outside the store. At the time I just thought she made the comment in rage. However after five of the eight meals caused possible food poisoning I feel that I have to write this review and warn others.
