McDonald's jubilee mall

Yesterday (18th of Feb 2022, I was at this restaurant dining. I forgot my phone on the table and came back to find it gone. I made the stuff aware and requested to see the footage as they have cct v cameras. The stuff told me that the manager had knocked off and they don't have access and I should come on the following day. I went back and I was told that I can't see the footage because their policy don't allow it. I can't open a case now because the footage is required.
