McDonald's is Trash

This evening my partner and I went to McDonald's, the Sunnyside Pretoria branch. We made an order for 2 McFeast meals at the self service machine. First and foremost they didn't have orange juice so I opted for Apple juice which I had no issue with. Then to my surprise, I found that the burger had an unusual spell to it. My partner took it back to the counter and told them the issue. Than they took it to the kitchen, and gave him the same burger, surely a spit in the face, cause it had the same spell. When we requested for a refund, the staff made a clout chase about the entire situation. One of the staff member, Tsakane made comments about them having distributed a number of burgers today and no one complained but us. Then continued saying it must have been our sense of smell or maybe we were coming down with a flu. Followed by another comment from Baby, who was working by the front counter saying that maybe I'm pregnant thats why the smell was funny. For someone who's been pregnant, and had complications with pregnancy. For her to throw around a comment like that to me or any customer was an emotional trigger. And all this happened while the Manger Andrew was standing besides them. He pointed out how he could not refund us cause it was a waste. A waste of food that someone spent their money on. He was even arrogant in the replies that he gave us,that we would need to call the head office if we head a problem he could not help us. When I let him know that I was going to report his staff cause I don't understand why they were so defensive like we bought the food personally from them(referring to Tsakane) he stood there and defended her saying that it was her kitchen. He than become aggressive saying that he didn't like the way I spoke to him. After he did absolutely nothing to help the situation.

After a long altercation with the staff. Itumeleng the Shift manager explained everything to us in a decent manner and calmed the situation. He than assisted us and informed us that the head office will be in contact with us.

The whole situation was disgusting to say the least.
