McDonald’s incompetence

I visited McDonald’s Silverton on Sunday the 24th of October 2021. I wanted to buy three burger meals and kiddies meals for my children, I was advised that they are out of soft drinks but could replace it with Powerade. It was not the preferred time to choose Powerade for my children at that time of the evening, as they had school the next day. I agreed for them to replace the soft drinks with Powerade, when I saw my slip, I saw that I was charged extra for the three Powerades that should be included in my burger meals. I was asked to come inside to sort out my query. I was not assisted at all, as they offered me the burger and fries seperately, but ended up costing R20 more per meal and still without the soft drink, I asked for a refund immediately, as it was simply a *******, it’s not my fault that they didn’t have any soft drinks, the staff even spoke among themselves, not sure if was Sotho, but I understood. The one said to the other not give me any refund in return. I managed to get my refund, but experienced extremely poor service and high levels of incompetence
